THE KHUMBU VALLEY! IT NEVER GETS OLD, ON OUR REST DAY IN NAMCHE BAZAR!

Willie, Matt, Kike, Jake and Mike are enjoying a rest day in Namche Bazaar today, where we spend two nights to allow the body to adjust to a sleeping altitude of 3440m, before we move on up towards the higher valleys.

Namche is a chance to soak in some local culture, hike high, catch a glimpse of Everest from the Everest View Cafe or Museum, and of course enjoy some amazing coffee (Willie!) at the Java or 8848 Cafe! and the last really hot en suite shower, at least until we get our Base Camp fully set up!
