Northern Norway

Norway Often Seems Remote To Outsiders, Even Mysterious, With A Thousand Years Of History Since The Marauding Days Of The Vikings. Bbe Invites You To Experience Norway At Its Most Magical, Immersed In Nature In Vast Stretches Of Serene, Postcard-perfect Landscapes.

Norway stretches north in a long, slender band from the Skagerrak, the choppy channel that separates the country from Denmark, its coastline battered and buffeted by the Atlantic as it juts up towards the Arctic Sea.
Behind this rough and rocky coast are spectacular mountain ranges, harsh upland plateaux, plunging river valleys, rippling glaciers, deep forests and mighty fjords of unsurmounted beauty – an exhilarating landscape begging to be explored, as we will: by foot, kayak and rock!

Lead Guide Willie Benegas needs no introduction. Himalayan guiding veteran and true expert, he is known for his energy and enthusiasm, teaching skills, and the passion with which he builds his teams into more strong and independent adventurers.

A once in a lifetime trip!

We loved the variety offered on this trip, with a blend of hiking, kayaking, camping and rock climbing. Not every night was in a tent so we broke up nights with and without a shower. The locations were well chosen, providing a very private, intimate experience with nature. The guides were all truly outstanding and able to accommodate our group which has a variety of skillsets. Overall the program was utterly fabulous, and a once in a lifetime trip for us. Thank you for all the attention paid to details!

The Norway expedition was truly a remarkable experience, as good as it gets!

The Norway expedition was truly a remarkable experience. The scenery was gorgeous, the activities were fabulous and the overall enjoyment was as good as it gets, and
the lodging could not have been any better. We loved all the locations. The guides were exceptionally personable, as well as knowledgable, helpful and friendly, and the training given along the way (everything from hiking to rock climbing) was incredibly encouraging. 10/10!
