Alpine Climbing in the USA

  • ONLY TO BE GUIDED BY WILLIE BENEGAS
  • All climbs guide ratio is 2 clients.
  • The USA is blessed with an incredible amount of open space, and some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world protected by city, state and national parks. Many of the popular climbing venues in the U.S. only allow a handful of guide services to legally operate. Therefore if we cannot secure our own permit to guide in a specific venue, we will work through one of the local concession holders as a “guest guide.” In doing so, we can offer trips legally to some incredible places that are often very difficult for independent guides to gain access to.

BBE’s Guest Guide Privileges:

  • Exum Mountain Guides
  • Jackson Hole Mountain Guides
  • Utah Mountain Adventures
  • Alpine Ascents International

Willie is a co-owner of the Certified Guide CO-OP, giving him the amazing opportunity to guide in the following permitted areas:

  • Smith Rocks State Park.
  • Red Rock Conservation Area
  • Moab BLM
  • Mohonk Preserve (Gunks)
  • Ouray Ice Park.
  • Mt. Baker WA
  • Eldorado Cayon, Co

If you want to climb / ski in an area not listed here, just contact us… We will make it happen!

Mount Baker – 10,781 feet / 3,286m Mount Baker is one of the largest glaciated volcanoes in the Pacific Northwest. From the summit, the views of the spires and peaks of the North Cascades is truly breathtaking, with the icy peaks of Mt. Rainier, Adams, and Glacier Peak piecing the clouds below.

Forbidden Peak and Sharkfin Tower

4 days
Forbidden Peak – 8,815 feet / 2687 meters Forbidden Peak is one of a kind “obelisk of rock”, created by the merging of several glacial cirques. Three remarkable ridges radiate from the summit (N, W, and E), Alpine Grade II-III and 5.2-5.8 (depending upon route and which guide you survey). The icefield and valley views, the alpine approaches, the rock quality, the shear majesty and position of the peak combine to make this a memorable and magnificent ascent by any route.
