Benegas Brothers Expeditions

We are delighted to report our team are comfortably settled into Camp 2 for their first night at 6400m, on this first rotation of the BBE Everest17 Expedition! A huge achievement for everyone… It’s no mean feat to have gained 1100m on base camp, passing on the way crevasses, ladders, and steep sections at high altitude! Not to mention cold air or alternatively hot sun! The Western Cwm has it all!

Huge congratulations to all our team members for supporting one another up to this new height: Giselle, John, Mac, Reagan, Damian, Lopsang Sherpa and Lam Babu Sherpa, supported by the incredibly hard work of Lhakpa, Dawa, Pasang, Rinjin, Ang Rita, Chedden, Khangdu and Yubraj. We’ve had a tough week with tragedy and plenty of nasty stomach and cough bugs in the Khumbu so we’re even more proud of our team for their hard work this week.
