imageGreetings from a chilly and windy Gorak Shep!

We are delighted to be almost at base camp! Tomorrow we’ll take our final hike into home from Gorak Shep where we’re currently making our final acclimatization stop at 5100m. The whole team is doing fantastic and is super bonded and relaxed. We’ve had a blast.

Our second night in Pheriche it snowed 4″ which made a firm crunchy footing for our ascent to Lobuche yesterday. Today Dami has headed on up to BC to connect up our solar system while we look forward to glimpses of a faraway Everest summit from Kala Phattar this afternoon, which will be our highest of the trip at almost 5,600m!
